S140 Kevlar-Core Swing Seat – Patent Pending
This next-generation swing seat is a patented innovation in playground safety and durability. Unlike traditional seats with steel inserts, the S140 is constructed with a Kevlar insert reinforced by steel mesh and encased in EPDM rubber, offering a unique combination of strength and child-safe performance. In testing, the seat has demonstrated a tensile strength of 10,000 lbs.
Designed for high-traffic and high-vandalism environments, the Kevlar core will not cause injury if exposed. This makes it an ideal long-term solution for commercial playgrounds. To support this confidence, the swing includes a five-year unconditional guarantee.
EPDM rubber is engineered to resist cracking, oxidizing, and wear—even in extreme weather. Unlike natural rubber or polymer, it won't rub off on clothing and holds up in both hot and cold climates.
