S125 European-Style Swing Seat

The S125 swing seat is a premium, European-style option constructed with a rubber injection-molded TPR (thermoplastic rubber) exterior over a cast rib-reinforced aluminum core, offering exceptional strength and long-term durability. A-frame one-piece brackets are secured with nylon and zinc-plated flat washers for added stability.

Installation Overview

• Attach washers to both ends of the hanger and insert through seat openings. Add washers beneath and secure with lock nuts (max two threads visible).

• Connect swing chains to triangle hangers using H170 shackles or 3/8” S-hooks.

• Chains must be measured for even hanging and proper clearance from surfacing (~24" typical).

• Install on level ground with ASTM F1292-compliant resilient surfacing.

• Maintain 12” minimum clearance between seat and surface.

Maintenance Guidelines

• Inspect monthly and at the start/end of each season for:

  • Cracks or wear in rubber

  • Loose or missing hardware

  • Vandalism or rust

  • Chain wear or compromised fasteners

• Ensure shackles and S-hooks are properly closed and secure.

• Replace all seats purchased at the same time if one shows wear.

• Remove swings in temperatures below 0°F or above 100°F.

• Keep detailed maintenance records.
